One-Eyed Dog Enterprises is named in honor of the most faithful canine we have ever had the privilege of knowing.  Badger was an Australian Cattle Dog cross that was blind in one eye.  When he was a puppy his previous owner threw a rock at him because he was chasing cows.  We had Badger for six years, and can only dream of having another dog like him.  The lifestyle behind this home-operated entrepreneurship is one of kids, horses, stock dogs, and cattle, and Badger stood for everything that made this lifestyle so good.
